NORWEGIAN MOUNTAINS & WILDLIFE EXPEDITION
THE HOME OF GIANTS
Giant mountains, giant hoofed animals and deep fjords. This expedition takes you into some of the most magnificent wilderness in Scandinavia. The oldest mountain range in the world awaits to show you it's splendour.
During part of the expedition we will stay in a fully equipped traditional norwegian mountain cabin. This will be our base for a time. We will teach you how to navigate, set up camp, handle your equipment, cook in the outdoors and much, much more. After we have mastered the skills of the outdoors we will take to the mountians. Once in the wild our homes will be the tents that we carry on our backs. In this stage of the expedition, participants will be able to out all of their new found knowledge and skills to practise.
In the area that we will wander through, we will have the chance to observe some of Scandinavias oldest and rarest creatures such as arctic fox and the mighty muskox. These occasions are perfect for recording species and behavioural data. Equipped with long distance spotting scopes we will see far and wide
Our goal is that you leave this expedition with a renewed knowledge about what the wilderness really is and that you feel ready to make it in the backcountry on your own.
