The elusive brown bear. This expedition takes you into some of the most remote areas of Scandinavia. We will teach you how to read signs and tracks and maybe you'll even get to see a bear. From hidden shelters around the research area, the chanses are better than normal to catch a glimpse of these shy giants. As we make our way through the wilderness we make sure to stop and log data on various other species as well.

During this expedition you will learn how to handle various types of field research equipment, such as radio telemetry, camera traps, gps-devices, and ArcGIS software.

During our quest for the brown bear we also build our knowledge about living and moving around in the wilderness. Bushcraft, navigation, leadership and 1st Aid are just some of the things this expedition will teach you. Our goal is that you leave this expedition with a renewed knowledge about what the wilderness really is and that you feel ready to make it in the backcountry on your own.
